Diversified Protection Services, LLC was founded in 2024 by Mike Hicks, an experienced public safety professional and USMC Veteran. Diversified is one of the most professional and progressive security and private investigation companies in Ohio and growing. Since our formation, our client base is expanding rapidly as we grow to be recognized as a market leader in the Midwest states. At Diversified, we only service a select number of clients — not the masses, like many of our competitors.

Since our formation, our mission has always been "Flawless Execution". In a changing world where security tactics need constant evolution to keep up with threats, training is paramount. With a leadership team comprised of ex-military, former law enforcement, law professionals, and first responders, we stay vigilant and on top of trends to ensure our clients receive the best coverage possible. As a result of the high standards we set for all of our departments, it is no surprise we share partnerships with some of the most respected companies in the business.

Nathan comes to us with over 15 years of combined education and experience in Criminology, Public Safety, and Private Investigations and in addition to helping with strategy and training, also overseas the investigations bureau.

Our leader Mike Hicks is a USMC veteran of the Vietnam era and brings over twenty years of experience in the public safety and security industry to lead Diversified Protection Services.
